The multilayer composite pipe is suitable for cooling and heating applications as well as for sanitary installations.
It was specially developed to withstand a wide range of temperatures and pressures.
The pipes contain the experience of several decades of plastic and aluminum processing.
Advantages
Approvals/Standards
Polyethylene pipe is extruded and an adhesive agent is applied in a coextrusion process. Then an aluminum strip of 0.2 - 0.8 millimeters thickness is formed around the pipe, longitudinally butt-welded and calibrated to the inner pipe. Then another adhesive layer and a cover layer of polyethylene are extruded.
The weld seam is checked inline during the production process.
The inner diameter of the finished product is checked with a ball.
Application areas
It was specially developed to withstand a wide range of temperatures and pressures.
The pipes contain the experience of several decades of plastic and aluminum processing.
Advantages
- High temperature and pressure resistance:
- Applications: Temperature max. 95°C, Pressure Max. 10 bar Continuous temperature 70°C over 50 years (DVGW)
- Low thermal expansion
- Absolutely gas-tight thanks to butt-welded aluminum layer
- Pipe color: white
- Certified according to DVGW and EN ISO 21003
- Corrosion-free
- No incrustation thanks to smooth inner pipe surface
- Low noise (soundproofing)
- UV resistance during unprotected storage for at least 6 months
- Resistant to numerous chemicals
- High flexibility and yet dimensionally stable installation, easy and economical processing
- Significantly lower weight than a metal pipe, therefore easier handling
