Description

Biotechnical trap for catching male plum codling moths. The special pheromone formulation and the green color of the trap have no attractant effect on beneficial insects and other moth species. Male plum codling moths are attracted to the trap by the sexual attractant and stick to the adhesive. As a result, the females remain unfertilized and do not lay eggs, from which the harmful larvae of the plum codling moth can hatch. After 5 to 6 weeks, late June, early July, the adhesive base and the pheromone capsule should be replaced to attract and catch the second generation of the pest. Remove the trap body after harvest or early August and store dry for next year's use. Experience has shown that sufficient catching of the plum codling moth can be achieved if one trap is used for 3 to 5 trees in the immediate vicinity. Instructions for use

Hang the trap at head height in a well-ventilated place next to the trees to be protected from mid-May. Replace the adhesive bases and pheromone capsules after 5 to 6 weeks. The pheromone is on the outside of the capsule. It is invisible and odorless. Remove the trap body early September and store dry for next year's use. Next year, you can equip the trap with the inexpensive retrofit set.

Setting up the trap:

Only open the bag with the pheromone capsules when it is time to use them. Always use only one lure at a time.

Content:

Unfold the adhesive base, take the pheromone capsule out of the aluminum bag, and place it in the middle of the adhesive base. Then slide the adhesive base into the trap, raise and secure the other side flap.

Unfold the trap body. Raise one side flap and insert the tabs into the designated slots.
