Info: Annual, height about 10 cm. Valuable cushion plant with many small pink flowers that have a sweet scent, especially in the evening. Bee pasture. Suitable as ground cover, for borders, rock gardens, stone joints, and balcony boxes. Largely avoided by snails.
Care: Sow in well-drained soil (row spacing 20 cm), press lightly, do not cover (light germinator!) and keep moist. Cultivate cooler and drier after germination. After 4 weeks, prick out several into pots and plant out or thin out with 10 cm spacing in May - June. Undemanding, loves sunny locations and nutrient-poor, well-drained soil.
Tip: Light pruning after flowering and fertilizing leads to abundant second flowering.
