Info: Annual, height about 40 cm. Planted in groups, snapdragons harmonize well in perennial beds. Popular and long-lasting cut flowers.
Care: Press seeds only lightly, do not cover with soil (light germinator!), cover with foil or glass until the cotyledon is developed, then keep cooler and drier. Prick out strong seedlings and cultivate at about 15°C. Plant out in a sunny to partially shaded location in nutrient-rich, well-drained soils from April to June.
Tip: Lower temperatures lead to more compact flower spikes.
Sowing: March - April indoors, May - June outdoors
Germination: 10 - 14 days at 18 - 20°C, light germinator
Flowering: June - October
