Info: Perennial tea and seasoning herb with an aromatic-fine, refreshing lemon flavor. Robust, easy-care, bushy perennial, height 50 - 100 cm. Mostly used fresh in green salad, fish, meat, game, desserts as well as melissa brandy. As a tea against cough and bronchitis. Also suitable for planting in the natural garden. Tends to grow rampantly.
Care: Sow in trays, press lightly, do not cover or cover thinly with soil (light germinator!) and keep moist. Direct sowing is possible but not recommended. Plant out at 30x40 cm. Loves sunny to partially shaded locations on all permeable soils.
Tip: Harvest young shoots just before flowering and hang them up to air dry. Cut back to the ground in late autumn.

Germination: 20 - 35 days at 16 - 22°C, light germinator
Harvest: June - October, from March 2nd year
