Info: Well-known, mid-early variety with very large, round, light red tubers and strong foliage. Reaches up to 8 cm in diameter, remains tender and hardly becomes hairy. Bolt-resistant variety for summer cultivation. Mild spicy taste. For fresh consumption, salad preparation and decoration.
Care: Sow 0.5 - 1 cm deep in rows 15 cm apart. Press seed, cover with soil and keep moist. Thin out to 5 - 7 cm due to the size. Loves sunny locations and all humus-rich garden soils. Keep evenly moist.
Tip: Cover early sowings with foil. Drought, too deep sowing and heavy soil bring elongated tubers.
Sowing: March - July outdoors
Germination: 6 - 12 days at 8 - 15°C
Harvest: May - September, depending on sowing date
