Care: Sow from March outdoors 0.5 cm deep and at a row spacing of 25 cm. Later thin out to a planting distance of 8 cm. The soil should not be supplied with fresh manure, but should be well-drained, moist, and rich in humus.
Tip: The roots are easy to store. Dig out, place in boxes with sand, and put in a cool, dry cellar room. Or simply freeze.
