Info: Mid-early proven variety for early outdoor and summer cultivation. Medium-sized, blue-violet, round to flat-round tubers with a pleasantly aromatic taste. Very tender and resistant to bolting. Suitable as raw food and as a vegetable.
Care: Sow 0.5 - 1 cm deep, press down, cover with soil and keep moist. Prick out if necessary. Plant out or thin out strong seedlings from April with 25x30 cm. Prefers a sunny location and any nutrient-rich, deep soil. Keep evenly moist to prevent the tubers from bursting.
Tip: No low temperatures during the growing phase, otherwise there is a risk of bolting. Do not plant too deep to avoid the risk of the tubers bursting.
Sowing: March - April indoors, April - June outdoors
Germination: 8 - 14 days at 16 - 24°C
Harvest: July - August
