For Birds, hemp seed is a real treat. Once they have tasted it, they can't get enough. You can feed hemp seed all year round, but it should make up no more than 15% of the total feed. Especially for young animals, hemp seed promotes healthy growth.
Horses also benefit enormously from our hemp seed. It is often used as a mineral supplement and contributes to a balanced diet. Contains vital nutrients.
Our feeding recommendation for horses:
- Large horses (approx. 500kg): daily 30-45 g
- Small horses/ponies: daily 10-20 g
