Threaded Fitting Malleable Iron Reducing Socket 2" Female Thread x 1 1/2" Male Thread
Threaded Fitting Malleable Iron Reducing Socket 2" Female Thread x 1 1/2" Male Thread
Malleable iron fittings are pipe connection parts that generally serve the transmission of liquids and gases. The areas of application are extremely diverse: from sanitary, heating, and gas installations to refrigeration and air conditioning systems, sprinkler and gas extinguishing systems, industrial plant construction, mechanical engineering, gas station construction, paper and printing machine construction to commercial vehicle construction.
The threaded connections are not self-sealing. For sealing, Teflon tape or hemp should be used.

Thread Type:
The threads of all pipe fittings are manufactured according to the common standards ISO 7-1/EN 10226-1 (female and male threads) as well as ISO 228-1 (union nuts of the fittings). The male threads are conical/tapered. The female threads are parallel/cylindrical. All threads are specified in inches as standard. The threads are sealed with a suitable thread sealing material such as PTFE thread sealing tape or thread sealing hemp.
