Threaded Fitting Stainless Steel Reducer 4" M x 2" F
Reducer made of stainless steel with a male thread and a female thread. To seal the thread, you additionally need a suitable thread sealing material. Hemp or Teflon tape is suitable here. The thread is the common Whitworth pipe thread used in water technology. The male threads are conical.
Product Features:
- rust-free and corrosion-resistant
- durable
- pressure ranges up to 10 bar
- suitable for cold water and hot water
Technical Data:
Connection: male thread x female thread
Connection dimensions: 4" x 2"
Working pressure (PN): 10 bar
Temperature: -20 °C to + 200 °C
Material: Stainless steel 316 (V4A steel according to DIN 1.4401)
Advantages of Stainless Steel Fittings:
All stainless steel fittings listed here are permanently corrosion-resistant and, unlike welded fittings or press fittings, can be loosened again. The threads allow a seamless transition to other materials without the need for a transition fitting. The stainless steel fittings do not require seals, making use up to 200 °C possible without any problems.
Thread Type:
The threads of all pipe fittings are manufactured according to the common standards ISO 7-1/EN 10226-1 (internal and external threads) as well as ISO 228-1 (union nuts of the fittings). The male threads are conical/tapered. The female threads are parallel/cylindrical. All threads are standardly specified in inches. The threads are sealed with a suitable thread sealing material such as PTFE thread sealing tape or thread sealing hemp.
