Info: Early, very high-yielding Quedlinburg hybrid variety for the open field, which predominantly has female flowers. The 35 cm long, bitter-free fruits are firm-fleshed, slim, dark green and of high quality. Very suitable for salads and as pickled cucumbers.
Care: Sow 2 - 3 cm deep at a distance of 30 cm with 2 - 3 seeds, row distance 1 m. Press down, cover, and keep moist. Thin out later. Do not transplant well. Love a warm, sunny, wind-protected location and loose, humus-rich, well-fertilized soil. No temperatures below 10°C.
Tip: Can be easily pre-cultivated in pots. Use compost as fertilizer and "soil heating". Picking continuously (every 4 - 7 days) increases the harvest quantity.
Sowing: Mid-May - June outdoors
Germination: 6 - 14 days at 15 - 25°C
Harvest: July - September
