- For kitchen and pantry
- Ready-to-use, large catch area
- 3 months infestation detection
- Insecticide-free
Odorless, ready-to-use, insecticide-free trap for successfully catching food moths that develop in dried fruit,
flour, cocoa and cereal products, such as muesli, as well as in pet food, etc.
The moths (dried fruit, flour, date, and storage moths) are attracted by a species-specific pheromone (sex attractant),
enhanced by visual stimuli, and get stuck on the glue surface.
The caught moths cause no further damage, and their number indicates the intensity of the infestation.
The more and the more often moths are caught, the more important it is to check food for larvae. The attraction duration is about 3 months after the
protective foil is removed. If infestation is still detected after this period, replace the trap with a new one. One
trap is sufficient for the entire kitchen or pantry.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Remove the protective foil from the glue surface. The pheromones contained in the already attached dispenser patch
are now activated.
2. Place the trap free-standing in kitchens or pantries, so that moths have direct access.
The pheromones on the dispenser patch are invisible and odorless to humans.
Always use only one trap per room.
This way, the intensity of the infestation and new infestations can be quickly identified, and appropriate measures can be taken.
Please dispose of used traps with household waste.
Since only the male moths are attracted and fly to the trap, this poses no risk for breeding.
If the trap is used as an indicator, the endangered food should be checked at intervals of two to three weeks,
once the first moths are caught.
For hygienic reasons, do not use infested food anymore, but dispose of it with household waste. Thoroughly clean cabinets and shelves,
preferably with a vacuum cleaner; immediately dispose of the dust bag afterward. The supplies should be stored in
sealable glass or plastic containers.
Store frost-free and not above 40°C. Keep out of reach of children and pets (risk of sticking). Dispose of full traps
with household waste. Empty folding cartons should be recycled.
