Info: Annual. Attractive sunflower with a clearly defined, reddish-brown ring. Flower size approx. 12 cm, well-branched with 50 cm long cut stems. Height approx. 120 cm.
Care: The pre-culture is carried out in warm (greenhouse/windowsill), sowed 2 - 3 cm (dark germinator) deep in pots about 2 - 3 seeds per pot. From mid-May (frost-free) the plants can be placed outdoors, beforehand acclimate to the outside temperatures (harden off). From mid-May direct sowing in the open field can be done, directly on site. Keep temperatures and humidity constant. Use seedling soil! Planting distance 50x50 cm.
Usage: "Florenza" is a real eye-catcher as a cut and border plant. With a height of about 1.20 m, this variety can be planted in large containers. Faded sunflowers are very decorative for dried arrangements.
Gardening tip: Nutrient-rich, well-drained soil and sufficient moisture promote good development. Subsequent fertilization is beneficial.
