Info: Also known as "eternal onion", these hardy onions always have soft and long stalks without a pronounced onion body. The foliage or greens can be cut all year round, they are delicate when fresh, but can also be frozen.
Care: Sow directly outdoors 1 cm deep and in rows with a distance of 25 cm from the end of March to the beginning of August. About 8 - 10 cm in the row. Press the seeds well and keep them consistently moist. Thin out plants that are too close together.
Use: The mild onion aroma is especially convincing for seasoning quark and cheese, soups, meat and egg dishes.
