 approx. 20-25 plants

Info: A seed-resistant specialty bred in Central Germany, fully adapted to local climatic conditions. A real mass producer! The many small (12 - 15 g), yellow, pear-shaped fruits hang in clusters and impress with a mild, sugary-sweet taste and soft skin. A real ornament for the vegetable bed, but also for larger containers. "Ildi" grows to about 150 cm high and requires a plant stake.

Care: Sow from February to mid-April in trays or pots in a warm place. Prick out young plants into pots about 8 cm in size after the appearance of the cotyledons. Stake the young plants early (from about 10 cm growth height) and remove side shoots (pinching out). A clay pot next to each tomato plant is beneficial for adequate water supply. Fertilize every 2 weeks during the growing season.

Usage: The sugary-sweet fruits are a delight for the hobby gardener, universally usable, e.g., in salads, soups, for garnishing, or for snacking.

Gardener's tip: Do not plant tomatoes next to potatoes, as it could lead to disease transmission.

Pre-culture: Pre-culture: February - mid-April

Germination: 8 - 15 days at 20 - 25°C

Location: Sunny and wind-protected

Harvest: July - October
